Condition

The canvas is not lined and is slightly undulating. There are a few thin lines of craquellure to the most thickly applied pigment (notably to the green and blue pigment towards the upper edge). There are a few small areas of retouching to the upper part of the left-hand tree and a few further dots of retouching to the lower left quadrant and to the water carrier with arms raised to the centre of the composition. This work is in good condition.
