Condition

Overall good condition. When viewed in person, the geometric dome of the shade presents with a slightly more muted palette compared to the catalogue illustration. The shade with approximately 20 cracks dispersed throughout the "Acorn" and "Curtain Border" registers, including three spider cracks and two tiles with multiple cracks. The majority of the hairline cracks appear stable; the tiles with multiple cracks would likely benefit from professional stabilization at the buyer's discretion. The shade with surface soiling to the adjacent contours of the shade leading and within the recessed areas of the textured rippled glass comprising the curtain border, and with scattered minor accretions on the glass and leading consistent with age. The socket cluster, cap, chain and canopy are later replacements. The cap with some surface scratches and accretions. The chain and canopy with corrosion throughout. The shade is comprised by a very nice and vibrant selection of dichroic glass, with contrasting tones of fiery orange, bright turquoise, and a range of green hues.
