Le tableau se présente dans un état de conservation assez satisfaisant. Il a fait l'objet d'un rentoilage un peu fort dans la première moitié du XXe siècle qui a quelque passé la matière. Il a un vernis sale qui a besoin d'être allégé. A la lampe UV, on consate que le vernis a été partiellement allégé au niveau du visage. de légères reprises au dessus du chapeau et à droite de la rose. The painting is in a good overall condition. It has been recanvassed in the first half of the 20th century which flatened a bit the painting. The varnish is dirty and needs to be cleaned. Under the UV light we see that the varnish has been slightly lightened. There are some restaurations at the right of the rose.
