Condition

Both paintings are in a very good overall condition. They are painted on perfectly straight boards. We cannot see any trace of slit nor losses. Both have a protection made of fibre on the back of the panel, typical of many panel of that period in France They are both under a slightly dirty varnish. We can see a very small one loss of painting no bigger than one centimetre square in the lower left corner of the composition with a white horse without rider. Under the UV light : Both are under a green uniform varnish. We cannot see any restauration. On the panel with the small loss we can see few micro cracks near the lower right corner.
