Condition

Painted aluminium, free standing, in an original presentation box. There are some areas of restoration, primarily at the upper part of the top edge and to the lower part of the central section. There are some surface dust to the interior. This work is in fair condition. Aside from some flecks of studio dirt on the lid of the box and some scuffs to the interior of the lid, the box is in overall good condition.

Initially conceived in 1919, followed by several replicas and variants in metal and paper over the ensuing decades. The present work was published in 1964 in an edition of 100 examples by Editions MAT.
