Made up at the top left section and along the left margin. Some soiling and surface dirt. Tiny brown stains on the forehead of the monk. Within brown framing lines. Otherwise in good condition. Sold in a modern wooden plain frame.
Renforcé sur le bord du haut et le long du bord gauche. Quelques salissures en surface. Petites taches brunes sur le front du moine. Des lignes d'encadrement brunes. En bon état général. Vendu dans un cadre en bois moderne.

Ce touchant portrait d'un moine tenant un livre est une étude réalisée sur le vif. Elle semble dater des années 1570, période où Federico travaillait à Florence et exécuta des dessins d'après nature au monastère de Vallombrosa.
