Condition

Several losses to the pigment especially to the top left section which is made up at a later stage and along the arch to the right. Some more losses at the bottom. There is a light yellowish stain to the right lower section of the sheet. Quelques pertes de pigement, notamment dans le haut de la partie gauche (qui a été reprise ultérieurement à la conception) ainsi que le long de l'arc sur la droite. Quelques autres pertes dans le bas. Il y a une tache jaunâtre en bas à droite de la feuille.

Catalogue Note

Ce dessin semble être un fragment d'une feuille plus importante. Le style et la technique de ce dessin sont assez caractéristiques de l'art de Giolfino, qui était un élève de Liberale da Verona (1445- vers 1529). La plus grande partie des feuilles connues de cet artiste a été réalisée dans ce même médium et sur des papiers préparés semblables1.
