Catalogue Note

The recipient of this calligraphy is Zhang Weisun (1895-1948), medical successor of the 11th generation of Zhang's medicine, grandson of Zhang Weiyun. His handwritten formula for "fatigue-induced recurrence of cold damage" and "insomnia" are collected by the Shanghai History Museum.
