of slightly waisted cylindrical form; together with a huali wood brushpot, Qing Dynasty, 19th Century

Condition

One side of this brushpot has been burnt (approx. 12 x 15 cm), and there is an approx. 1.5 cm area of restoration to the lower centre of this area. There are several splits running from one side of the rim, and several cracks (some filled) running through the base. Approx. 9 cm of the rim has been slightly reduced in width.
