the flattened baluster body rising from a short spreading foot to a short waisted neck set with a pair of dragon handles suspending loose rings, carved in low-relief around the body with the 'Three Friends of Winter', the domed cover surmounted by a lion dog finial, the stone of pale olive green tone, wood stand

Toovey's London, 12th August 2016.

Condition

The vase has natural fissure lines and a small bruise to the bamboo leaves on the lower right. The cover has small nicks to the rim and another at the tip of the lion's tail, and an approx. 2 cm hairline from the rim to the interior. There are minor scratches to the surface and nicks to the extremities.
