finely carved, depicting Guanyin wearing a long flowing robe seated in Royal Ease holding a small boy, all supported on a double lotus base, the creamy-white ivory patinated to a warm honey tone at the rear

Condition

This figure is in good condition with the exception of minor nicks to the extremities including one tip of the hair cowl and along the petals of the lotus base. There are the expected age lines particularly to the back, along with a darkened area in the lower portion of the back.
