each rectangular top with downswept ends above a profusely carved apron of endless knots, all supported on moulded straight legs joined by a pair of cross braces

Provenance

One, Bonhams Chester, 8th July 2010, lot 818; the other, purchased in Paris in 1968.

Condition

One with faded varnish on the top surface along with crackling to the central panel, and small replaced sections to the surface. The other table with some splits and small areas of replacement to the surface, slight fading to the top along with light scratches.
