of upright rectangular form with tiered shelves of varying height, shape and size, the back panel lacquered black and finely painted in gilt with flowers and landscape scenes

Purchased in Paris, 25th June 2010.

Condition

This cabinet is in reasonably good condition, with some small areas of re-lacquering in various areas throughout including to the shelves, back panels, top of the cabinet, sides and back. The back right foot has been broken and repaired, with loss of lacquer. The back left foot and apron also have some loss of lacquer. There are some chips to the front and sides. There are some stain marks, rubbing of gilding, and slight scratches to the surface.
