the round-shouldered body rising from a spreading foot to a tall trumpet neck, painted in around the exterior with cranes and deer amongst rocks and pine trees

The Cowdray Sale, Christie's London, 13th September 2011, lot 242.

Condition

The neck of the vase has been broken and restored. There are frits to the rim and foot, minor scratches to the surface, and some glaze imperfections including iron spots and burst bubbles.
