each with deep rounded sides rising from a short foot to a slightly everted rim, covered overall in bright green, yellow and aubergine splashes; together with four green and one aubergine glazed brinjal bowls

Condition

The pair of egg and spinach bowls both have areas of restoration (ca. 21 x 7cm., and 9 x 7cm., near the rim; the aubergine bowl has a ca. 4x2cm., triangular section of restoration to the rim and a ca. 2 and a 1cm., hairline rim crack; one of the shallow green bowls has a ca. 8.5cm., hairline rim crack and the other has two ca. 2.5 and one ca. 1.5, 2 and 1cm., hairline rim cracks; one of the deep green bowls has a ca. 7cm., hairline rim crack, the other has a ca. 4.5cm., crack with associated tiny chip; the olive-green deep bowl has over-painting to a ca. 7x3cm., section of the rim and over-painting to the interior base and a ca. 2 and a 1cm., hairline rim crack. All have scratches to the surface and minor glaze firing imperfections including iron spots and burst bubbles.
