the compressed globular body rising from a slightly spreading foot to a flared rim, flanked by two loop handles on each side, the base with an apocryphal six-character Xuande mark

Condition

The censer is in overall good condition. There is a shallow dent to one side of the body and nicks and stratches to the body throughout. The lacquer to the surface is worn in has been touched up throughout.
