the bombe body rising from a short foot to a flared neck, flanked by a pair of fixed rings suspending from taotie masks between a pair of scaly dragons confronting flaming pearls, the base with an apocryphal four-character Xuande mark

Condition

The censer is in overall good condition with minor nicks on the surface, especially to the rim and foot. The patina has been slightly cleaned.
