Description

  • soapstone
of square form, carved with a sinuous chilong detailed with curled bifurcated tail and a finely incised mane, with two young playfully clambering on top, the stone of an orangish-brown colour

Condition

The seal is in good condition with the exception of a chip to one corner of the base, and small nibbles along the extremities. Slightly less orange in colour than illustrated in the catalogue.
