the cylindrical body rising to a short waisted neck with a gently flared rim, painted delicately in soft pastels on each opposing side with panels of figures amongst a mountainous waterscape detailed with pavilions and trees, against a green ground with dense sgraffiato scrollwork and enamelled floral sprays, the base glazed turquoise and with a six-character seal mark in iron red within a square cartouche reserved in white

Condition

There is a number of restored areas to the rim of this vase and some glaze cracks to one of the landscape panels. There is some scratches to the green sgraffiato ground to one side.
