  • Jade
comprising: a white and grey jade figure of Liu Haichan, wood stand; a celadon jade lady beside a basket of flowers; a calcified jade boy and carp; a celadon jade boy standing beside a basket of flowers; and a celadon and russet jade seated man, wood stand and fitted box

Provenance

The celadon and russet jade seated man purchased in Singapore in 1979.
The boy, the lady and the boy and carp, all purchased in Singapore in 1984.
The white and grey jade figure of Liu Haichan purchased in Hong Kong in 1980.

Condition

The seated man and the boy and carp group are in overall very good condition. The three other carvings with minor chips to the edges. The largest figure is a slightly warmer white than illustrated in the catalogue.
