  • Jade
comprising: a feline and cub on a leaf; a pair of mandarin ducks; a monkey; a bat and coin; a cicada; and a duck clasping a stem of lotus in its beak 

Provenance

All except the duck, purchased in Singapore in February 1979.

Condition

All the carvings are in overall very good condition, some with minute fritts to the raised parts of the carving. The bat is slightly more celadon in colour than illustrated in the catalogue.
