depicted seated in dhyanasana, hands held in dhyanamudradressed in long flowing robes with embroidered lotus borders cascading in folds, the chest marked with the wan symbol, the eyes cast downwards with a meditative expression flanked by a pair of pendulous earlobes, the hair arranged in an ushnisha surmounted by an ovoid jewel

Condition

The figure is in heavily cast and in overall good condition. The surface is covered in a thin layer of dark soot, slightly worn, revealing the gilt-bronze underneath. There are traces of pigments on the eyes and lips.
