the well-crafted circular dome topped with an onion-shaped finial, the exterior finely painted in tones of cobalt blue with 'heaped and piled' curling floral vines surrounding the finial encircled by a border of floral blooms separated by double circles, the finial covered with a further floral motif, all above a base of circular form

Condition

This cover is in good condition with the exception of a hairline crack to the rim (approx. 0.5 cm), and four glaze lines/cracks to the interior (the longest being approx. 4 cm). There is a small area of old glue near the label in the interior.
