the curved sides rising from a short straight foot to a slightly flared rim, the interior painted in bright cobalt blue with a scene of two warriors engaged in combat beneath a pine tree on a craggy cliff while a third figure watches, with a boat floating in the foreground, the exterior painted with a mountainous river landscape with pavilions, the base with an apocryphal six-character Jiajing mark in underglaze blue within double circles

Condition

There is a semi-circular restored section to the rim (broken into two pieces) measuring approx. 2.7 cm by 5.4 cm. There is also a hairline crack at 12O'Clock (3.5cm) and 7O'Clock (2cm). There are minor burst bubbles and iron spots to the glaze in various areas.
