the rounded sides rising to an everted rim, painted to the exterior in bright green, yellow and aubergine, depicting two butterflies amongst camellia sprays, the body finely incised with a pair of dragons pursuing flaming pearls, the base with a six-character mark in underglaze blue

Condition

There is a restored semi-circular break from the rim (approx. 4.3 by 9 cm in two pieces) and a hairline crack approx. 1.2 cm from the right side of this section. There are two hairline cracks to the rim, one approx. 3 cm, the other approx. 1.5cm. There are minor adhesions to the interior.
