  • lacquer bronze
of circular form, the doomed cover decorated with a five-clawed dragon and a phoenix and encircled by a key-fret border, the rounded sides with lobed panels variously enclosing a dragon or a phoenix and divided by bats suspending a stylised shou character, all against a diaper ground and above a band of bats and clouds swirls bordering the foot, the base with a four-character reign mark
