Description

  • porcelain
modelled on an archaic bronze steamer, supported on three columnar legs, each leg decorated with an animal-mask and triangular flanges, the upper body with a band of archaistic motifs and similar flanges, further set with two upright loop handles, covered overall save for the foot in an olive-green glaze

Condition

One handle and the raised flanges on each of the three taotie mask feet have been restored. Some minor glaze firing imperfections and surface wear.
