the recumbent bird clutching a hollowed circular disc with its claws and beak, detailed with archaistic scrolls around the head and wings, the reverse pierced with circular apertures for attachment

Condition

The figure is in overall good condition. There are minor nicks to the fragile edges, some aggravated from natural flaws to the stone. The lower edges of the figure have possibly been lightly polished or reduced from a finial/fitting.
