modelled standing on a rockwork base, wearing a cap and draped in a robe opening at the chest, the face with a contemplative expression featuring downcast eyes, a moustache and goatee, the reverse impressed with a gourd-shaped seal reading He Chaozong

Condition

The figure is in structural good condition. The head has been broken and restuck, with general areas of restoration to the extremities, including the cap, hand, sleeves and hem of the robe. There are some natural firing cracks and imperfections. There is a possible area of loss to the lower body between the sleeves.
