Catalogue Note
The present mirror, well-preserved and of high tin content, shows a silvery white surface that creates a clear reflection. This example, of octafoil petal-lobed form, is decorated in alternating patterns of flowers and birds. The circular central region of the mirror features a pair of phoenix facing each other, amongst dense lotus blossoms and stems.
