the pear-shaped body surmounted by a tall trumpet neck, the lower body carved through a white slip to the buff-coloured body with a peony scroll below a band of detached floral sprays, all beneath a translucent milky glaze

Condition

The vase is in overall good condition with some glaze wear and losses, especially to the mouthrim. The vase also has some typical shallow chips to the unglazed foot and surface flakes. There are also typical firing imperfections including firing lines, glaze pulls and kiln speckles as visible in the catalogue photo.
