the god of longevity holding his gnarled staff tied with a double gourd, standing beside a boy squatting on a drum, the stone of a pale celadon tone with beige-brown inclusions
Provenance
Collection of T.Y. Chao (1912-1999), and thence by descent in the family.
Condition
The jade figure is of overall good condition except a small bruise 0.2x0.1cm on the edge of the robe of the god of longevity, above his foot, and visible from the illustration.
