carved in the form of two monkeys crouching on a rocky mountain incised with a butterfly, the reverse with two large peaches, the stone of a transparent sky-blue tone

Provenance

Collection of T.Y. Chao (1912-1999), and thence by descent in the family.

Condition

The pendant is in overall good condition. There is light surface wear and a few expected minute nicks to the edges, the largest measuring approx. 0.9 cm to one lower edge.
