each potted with the deep rounded sides rising from a short foot to a five-lobed rim, covered overall with a greyish-celadon glaze, the interior with spur marks
Condition
The larger bowl has a curved hairline crack of approx. 5.5 cm and the whole vessel appears to have been varnished, probably to stabilise the hairline. The smaller bowl has a small nick to the mouthrim and a long scratch to the interior wall. Both bowls have some typical firing imperfections.
