of ovoid form with a pair of strap handles, the body with sharply defined vertical ribs, covered overall with a lustrous black glaze falling short above the foot

Condition

The mouth has been restored and retouched, affecting an area of approx. 3 by 16 cm, together with an associated hairline extending down to the bottom of the neck. There are also some surface wear, minor flakes and typical firing imperfections.
