  • ceramics
with the ovoid body rising from a short splayed foot to a slender neck, surmounted by a dish-shaped mouth, covered overall with a semi-translucent greenish-brown glaze

Condition

The mouth has a section of approx. 4 cm which has been chipped and restored with overspray. The neck is also professionally restored and sprayed. The vase has some original firing flaws including several firing cracks with minor associated losses to the base (the longest one almost encircling the countersunk base).
