Description

  • jade
of circular form, carved to both sides around the central aperture with the 'grain' pattern, the stone of a greyish-green colour with some russet inclusions

Provenance

Acquired in Hong Kong in November 1983.

Condition

As visible in the catalogue photo, there are expected bruises and chips along the edges of the disc, the largest measuring approx. 1.4 cm, as consistent with its age. There is also pitting to the stone. The disc is otherwise in quite good overall condition.
