These works are in good condition overall. Evidence of wear in handling and faint scratches scarcely scattered across the surfaces are observed for all six chairs which are consistent with the works' age. Minor chips and signs of abrasion are observed on the edges of the back support, along the legs and seat of the chairs. Occasional discolouration of small sections of wood can be observed. Evidence of minor accretion is observed on the underside of all chair legs due to protective felt pads previously attached. All aforementioned condition issues are consistent with age and use of the work.
