A FINE COPY WITH GOOD PROVENANCE. Stocqueler was an English journalist of Portuguese extraction based in India, where he edited a number of periodicals. The account opens in Muscat, from where the author proceeded up the Persian Gulf to Basra, thence through Persia and Armenia to Odessa.
