Condition
The illustration of the catalogue is accurate.
There are the inevitable dents, marks and scratches due to age and use.
The gilding is slightly rubbed and tarnished.
There are some chips to the marble tops. Both marble tops are tarnished. with two keys "au trèfle".
The commode:
There is one shrinkage crack to each lateral pannel.
The commode has been elevated (visible to both front feet). The back feet have been re-veneered.
The secrétaire:
The secrétaire has been elevated (visible to both front feet). The back feet have been re-veneered.
There is one horizontal shrinkage crack to the central pannel and one vertical shrinkage crack to the lower left hand side door.
