Description

  • gilt bronze, thuya burr
  • Haut. 71,5 cm., diam. 101 cm. ; Height 28 1/2  in., diam 39 3/4  in.
with a restored circular red and grey marble top, above a frieze with griffins, feathers, on a baluster shaped foot

Condition

The illustration of the catalogue is accurate. There are the inevitable dents, marks and scratches due to age and use. As stated in the catalogue, the marble top has been restored. There are some minor cracks to the veneer, especially to the baluster foot. On element between the baluster foot and the three feet has been restored and imitates burr. The gilding is rubbed and tarnished. Very elegant model.
