Condition

The illustration of the catalogue is accurate. There are the inevitable minor dents, marks and scratches to the gilding due to age and use. There are some minor chips and rubbed areas to the gilding revealing the white gesso and the red bowl underneath. The white painted central panel is slightly tarnished with some flaking. The label on the back is partly torn. Elegant pair of barometers and thermometers in Louis XVI style.
