Description

  • each with an ice skating figurine in a tôle and floral bower, on a square base with laurel swags, on carved foliate feet, each with a handle to the back; (some losses to the hands)
  • gilt bronze, porcelaine
  • Haut. 18.5 cm., larg. 10, 5 cm. ; Height 7 in., width 4 in.

Condition

The illustration of the catalogue is accurate but the gilding is less orange in reality. The gilding is slightly rubbed and tarnished. The end of one skating figurine's foot is missing (the purple and white dressed woman). One flower is missing and three flowers need to be refixed. There are some chips to the flowers and to the figurines' hands. There are some chips to the lacquer. Decorative pair of candlesticks.
