Condition

The illustration of the catalogue is accurate. Good overall condition. There are the inevitable dents, marks and scratches due to age and use. The lock has been changed and there are some traces of previous compartments which are now missing. The leather is very slightly stained with a nice patina. The gilding of the ormolu elements is rubbed and tarnished. There are a few restorations to the veneer, with some replacements. The table was previously a "Table à la Tronchin".
