Condition

The illustration of the catalogue is accurate. The gilding is very slightly rubbed and tarnished. There are minute losses to the gilt-bronze leaves. There are minute chips to the lions dogs: one chip to the base of one (front part, left hand side), one minute chip to the mane of the other and one minute chip to the ribbon on one back. Very decorative pair of objects. Nice quality of chasing.
