Condition
In overall good condition with usual scratches due to age and handling. The engraving of armorials is quite worn.

Catalogue Note
Prince George Augustus Frederick was the eldest son of George III and Queen Charlotte. He was born on 12 August 1762 and was created Prince of Wales a few days later. He was known as George, Prince of Wales until succeeding to the throne as George IV on the death of his father in 1820.
