- Porcelain
- Haut. 5 cm, larg. 13 cm, prof. 8 cm
of oval section and resting on four small feet, painted in underglaze blue, iron red and gilt with flowers among tendrils, mounts (2)
Condition
The spice box visible on the left of the catalogue illustration :
There is wear to the gilding and to the enamels.
There is a ca. 5 cm hairline crack to the cover corresponding to an old restoration.
There are vertical firing cracks visible to the inside.
There are four (ca. 1 cm) firing cracks under the upper rim and a ca. 3 cm firing crack to the bottom. There is fritting to the upper and lower rim.
There is glaze imperfection to the bottom.
The spice box visible on the right of the catalogue illustration :
There is wear to the gilding and to the enamels.
There is fritting to the upper rim and to the bottom rim.
There is a tiny firing crack around one foot.
There is a ca. 0,5 cm firing flaw on the body of the spice box on the upper part.
One screw is missing to the mounting of a cover.
There is a ca. 2 cm hairline crack extending vertically from the rim to the inside.
