Condition

The illustration of the catalogue is accurate but the chairs are less dark in reality. There are the inevitable dents, chips, marks and scratches due to age and use. Most of them in beechwood, previously lacquered and now stained to look like mahogany. There are replacements and restorations to the backrests, to the seatrails and to the feet. Some seatrails have been reinforced with wooden blocks. Some feet have been replaced. There are old woodworms traces. One leather seat is in bad condition. The constructions are firm and sound.
