Catalogue Note

Steinlen represented Edmond de Goncourt (1822-1896) here, in our opinion. Famous writer and founder of the Académie Goncourt in 1900, awarding a price in litterature every year, Goncourt's important moustache, thick eyebrows and wavy hair are recognizable.
