Condition

To the naked eye : The painting appears in satisfactory condition. It has been relined with wax during the first half of the 20th century. We notice some losses and wears due to the abrasion of the frame, especially in the lower part and on the margins. We notice two restored dents and losses on the ceiling, one measuring 2cm. The painting has been quite correctly cleaned during the second half of the 20th century. Under UV light : We notice some traces of an old varnish. We notice a small retouche on the floor, on the left hand side. Around the ceiling we notice the two retouches mentioned above.
